Vibration, Humming, Steering wheel....
Evening all,
I have got an issue with a humming coming from the front of the D3, the hum is in sync with the vibration I feel through the steering wheel, it only happens at 50 to 60ish Mph and only when I'm on long gentle bends. In a straight line, no noise at all.
Nothing at slower speeds either, had the Bearings done, 4 wheel align, lower arms and brake pads and discs done all within the last year 18 months.
help! Belts, done
Lower arms, done
V8 front brakes, done
Gearbox flush, done
Steering arm, done
Tyres all round, done
EGR's, done
EHB, done
re-map, done
Air con re-gas, done
and so on, and so on, and so on!!!

Drain the diff oil and look for metal particles in it, refill with new oil. Start saving for a new diff!It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
