EGR/ check engine light

Hi,
Had check engine light on intermittent, reset by IiD tool, came back on shortly after, had it cleared (make unknown, but pro standard) at work today so far stayed off.
Fault read as EGR B circuit control high

2007 MY D3, what are the options?

Replace both?
Replace one?
Blank and require remap?
