End of warrantee is in site
The warrantee is up on my TDV6 S in the new year. I've read a number of posts on extending it but have decided not to.
I've had the car 6 months and have had no trouble at all other than a minor leak in the roof ( oh and when I put Petrol in it !! ) So I'm happy I've not got a Friday afternoon Vehicle like my last D2 !
I have two questions
There are a number of service recalls so is this something the dealer should be checking anyway while the car is in for a service or do I need to ask?
Secondly When I get the final Service booked should I be asking them to give the car a thorough check and get as much done as possible ? I know the answer is yes but realistically are the dealers likely to do this ?

Get your dealer to do a pre-inspection, fix anything under warranty (before it runs out) and then put it through the MOT for you.
At least then if they detect anything before the warranty runs out, you can arrange to have it noted and fixed later on. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

If your warranty has expired, what you need is an Autologic - equipped maintainer
