The New Testament says something similar:-

Quote:
"Women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control (1 Timothy 2:9)."

Biology says if you have an X and a Y then you’re a bloke (unless you’re avian) and 2 Xs means you’re a girl. Feel free to dress how you want it doesn’t change chromosomes.

Funny how it’s ok to ridicule Christianity but no mention of Muhammad when images of him funnily enough are dressed like Jesus and funnily how many from that region still dress today, perhaps a hoodie and jeans who be better Rolling Eyes

OK Paul

Boys not allowed to wear dresses say the religious who follow a man in a dress Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

I think ridiculing those who clearly battle with their sexuality in some circumstances to the point of suicide is absolutely abhorrent and as it appears to stem from religious belief ....I say Censored religion Thumbs Up

I say it’s not religion that is the problem it is the people who espouse it for their own end and unfortunately it happens in all religions and with atheists too.

Gender as I said is a fact of biology, how you feel about your gender, like your sexuality is a different and personal matter.

We have at least half a dozen 'trans' at work, all M to F, all 50+ and all still VERY masculine.

Not bothered, per se, and sympathetic to the point their 'struggles' must be pretty hard to lead to that choice of living as they do but I have been uncomfortable of them using gents toilets in 'early stages'. They tend to transition to the disabled loo's and eventually women's.

However as confused and annoyed as the OP on the creep to all these multi genders and especially when foisted on primary school aged kids Rolling Eyes

But this has moved way beyond those who battle with their sexuality. It's become "edgy" and "hip" to refuse to identify by gender. It's no different to punks spiking their hair and wearing ripped clothing 40 years ago - a "look at me, I'm different!" (and ignoring the irony of being different by following a trend).

In other words, "never mind the bo llocks, here's some sex issues"

Being a Father of three almost grown up modern children, I'm constantly being told I'm a dinosaur.
like other 50 year old northern fella's I could be more understanding of minority groups.

Each generation is becoming far more tolerant and old B Censored like us should wise up.
Most of these young gender neutral people have little control of how they feel and their only crime is being born to soon. Thumbs Up

I think anybody can dress as they want, and behave as they want [ male/female style], change sex as they want...

But they can NOT change there "VIN" number... I appreciate to know whom I fall in love with,
- if I had not been spoken for already -.

I am male, but to take the issue away from the "white male domination" , I change the perspective

Mr. Green

Just suppose as a lesbian , you see a person that looks attractive to you as you are led to believe it is a woman....
Suppose it comes to a relationship and "she" still didn't tell you...

I think there are filmscripts on this subject...

After a while she does tell. Are you free to be angry ? Can you "knock her block off" , like you would as some man
would kiss you on your mouth ??? Would that then be explained - in court- as a "hate crime" ????

As it is, you would not have kissed if you had known. So legally it is "sexual harrassment" if one is 'led on' ...

In fact, you have been 'mislead' . Something that is illegal by trade law as something not very honest...

Do not get me wrong : I realise its very though if you feel you are born in the "wrong suit" and struggle with it.
It will be -very- hard on most people as there are always people who ridicule you or worse.

But should the right of transe genders overrule the rights of born genders ? What if the rules they strive
for inflict the rights of others ?

I want to try to simplify the problem, not ridicule transe genders who had a "make over" .

To do so I compare it with buying a used car [ it is a car forum, so we stay on-topic ]... Whistle

After a certain age all people are "used" sexually, so to there is no dispute about this aspect I assume.
There lies no judgement in this connotation as such.

But don't we all want to know - and the law in the UK requiresas far as I know - to state if a car has been involved
in any kind of accident or not, and what the level of damage was ? Aren't these 'make-overs' felt as a 'repair' to the suitable status of the body ?

So suppose there is no mentioning of specific gender in any document or government files,
it would still requier to make clear to the other partner, if your gender was by birth of acquired later,
at some stage. For me it is the sooner the better...

This is not the only aspect of a person the other can have a problem with. Other aspects like having been married before, having children,
carry a contageous disease and many others are things at some stage will be communicated. Not all these carry a judgement,
as the fact someone is transe gender does not automaticly has to lead to rejection, like any of the other aspects I mentioned do not have to lead to rejection.

Basicly : can you soften the pain of the transegender by giving them the right to inflict pain to others?

Shocked

Not going to tell you that you're wrong but I will ask you WTF it's got to do with you (or anyone else)?

Some of this comes across as "Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells".

Me? I don't care what they have on their passports. I don't expect them to care what I have on mine. I, and they, have bigger issues to worry about in this world than what someone's passport says about their sexuality.

Well I've realised that I am a lesbian trapped in a man's body, so what does that make me?
