Replacement Arm Rest

Has anyone replaced the driver seat arm rest? A little bit too much weight on it this morning has snapped something, not had a chance to look and now wont stay in position.

Confused probably broke the weld on the seat frame, have to strip it and repair, or replace the whole seat if its easier most cost -effective for you but its not a 'bolt-on' part as most (including me Embarassed ) used to think Thumbs Up

or is it still under warranty? get it back!! Very Happy

Think i've found the problem!

Luckily, she's still under warranty, due a service and a couple of things to sort out before warranty runs out, so will kill two birds with one stone!

That's what happened to mine too. New arm was £40/ £60 from memory but replaced under warranty without question. Thumbs Up

Not too bad then when it inevitably goes again...pressure relieveing on the arm rest probably isnt the wisest idea!

I think it's more the sideways lean it doesn't like rather than the downwards pressure. Clearly not quite strong enough.
