Wooden cider mug smell
My beloved wooden tankerd stinks.
It smells like it's trying to brew it's own unique brand in there.
Question is does anyone know how to properly clean it?

try salt ... cleans wooden chopping boards nicely.
liberal coating of dry salt and leave it a day or two before scraping off then rinse well and allow to dry.
or just bin it and buy a proper one made of glass ?

Probably not as chopping boards are made from different timber that does scrub up really clean.Just remember:-
