[Wanted] Extended black roof rails
Considering some extended black roof rails for my MY12 D4. It's just getting too dodgy trying to get long things on the short rails.
Would prefer OEM but beggars can't be choosers....
Cheers

Seem ok and certainly cheaper than LR genuine parts ! be interested to hear if anyone else on the forum has installed them ?
Thinking about a set for mine although waiting until a few other bits come back into stock to avoid paying twice for postage, will let you know how they fit once I get round to it !

Just looked on Fleabay and there are some on there even cheaper... not sure I'd want to put too much weight on them though !

It’s been mentioned on here before, there can be issues with some of these non-lr rails in that the rubber seals do not have the correct profile for the roof slot.

I'm wary of the ebay ones as there have been negative comments about them posted here. Powerful ones are an option I suppose. They seem to have a generally good reputation.D1 300Tdi - gone

The eBay after market rails are generally quite good but as stated, you might need to warm the front to allow the contour of the foot to fit the roof profile but I managed it ok with a hot air paint stripper.
Also, you will very probably need to supply your own fixing bolts too as the supplied items were hopeless.
Other than that, they are well worth the saving.
