Hello haven't been on for a while anyways .
I've ad my disco for two year now and had not even looked at the tow bar , I read a couple of posts on seized tow bars and thought it let's have a go , here's what happened .
Put key in turned
Wouldn't pull out so took the cover plate off on the opposite side to the lock sharp tap with a drift and it moved
Twisted the lock out popped the tow bar
Sprayed with wd applied copper slip worked everything free and refitted
Tested the mechanism a few timed no probs
Time taken about 30 mins I was expecting a nightmare it's a disco so well happy
All transmission oil replaced
3 flash indicators
All timing belts changed
EPB serviced
De cat fitted
Wind deflectors
De-tango done
Tints fitted
Egr blanked
