I had the same problem after a valve block O ring replacement job. My car had been suffering from the front suspension sagging overnight which prompted the job.
It turns out that the O rings in the photo that I bought from a local supplier were incorrect.
They should be 1.2 mm thickness and I was given 1.0 mm. (they look the same). I went through a lot of head scratching and stripping of the valve block before I discovered the culprit. Sourcing and fitting the correct O rings fixed the electrical connector leak problem and the original snag.
If you look closely at the valve block and the way it is molded during construction you will see how leaking air will find its way into the electrical connector.2010 D4 TDV6

cheers gt40.i had same problem.sagged at front replaced o rings and slowed it down but diddnt fix(now sags slowly and leans a bit left)so chucked it in bucket of water to find leak out of connector.we might both have sourced o rings from same place me thinks.anyway thanks for the advice.also my car 2005 build no silica at all in valve block.do you think hot dry climate aids dryer unit not packing it in?thanks mate

yeah if the tiny seals are missing it blows the connector off !
So I guess any significant leak inside can cause this.
