Christmas??
Dear fellow enthousiasts,
I picked up my car this Tuesday from a big service including transfer and diff oil change, drove it everyday this week since. We had some rain this morning and when I wanted to start her up lots of lights came on and of, computer did not manage to go past system check. Ticking noises as well. Seemed electrical and when the doorlocks started going on/off I decided to abort. Came back to the car and managed to get the ignition in first position without triggering the carnaval and read the faults, when trying to turn over the engine everything went south again. The IDTool showed 8 volts so prob. best to hook it up to a charger right?
I've listed the faults perhaps there are clues to be found by a more experienced eye. Would appreciate your comments and suggestions. Scary stuff

yeah charge it.
It is the battery or alternator though.
When you get it started, read/measure the voltage

Charged it overnight and everything back to normal again
...lets hope it stays that way.

As soon as I saw this post.... Battery. I spent 3 hours waiting for the recovery guy last night in a petrol station with kids in the back of the Landy
Alternator charging correctly but the battery gave up and left us with a long list of faults, clicks and lights
I didn't want a repeat of that so picked up an amg battery from the dealers today rather than trusting a no name battery that says it has x amount of cca and probably isn't even close to stated output along with it requiring you to pay return shipping for testing and days without a battery when it packs up.
Be prepared though....... £259.01
Amazing how fast it cranks now and how many communication faults, hdc faults have just cleared up so in my honest opinion it was worth every penny just knowing I wont have to hear "Dadddddddd when are they coming? I'm board" because of a dud battery

Still ok , perhaps my mechanic drained it to much when doing the service.
