heated leather seats
hi
should my xs model have heated seats. they are leather and seem to have loads of wires underneath but it hasnt got the switches on the dash in the usual plase. could i just buy some switches and plug them in for the seats to work

There was a lot of chopping and changing (read gave with one hand and took away with the other) with the XS. ISTR heated seats was an option, like satnav, but these things were reintroduced with time.
PS No idea re switches & wiring loom etc but if you need a HVAC unit with the switches give me a shout. Still got this bit looking for a home after The Great Dark Bluie Stripdown.

ile do a bit more homework mate and if i simply have to fit the switch panel ile give you a shout

Absolutely homework needs done. You need to check if you actually have heated seats for a start. It's easy to see if the middle row seats are heated, just look for the connecting block, but the front ones will have connectors & cables anyway for the airbags.

You will do well for them to be heated and not connected. Look under the seat in the middle of the base there is a hole that you can see the foam if they are heated there will be wires coming out that hole. Also you'll need DSL's HEVAC switch pack and probably have to make up the wires to go from the back of that to the two footwells. First look under the seats.
