Hi,
I recently got a D3 and very quiet it is compared to my 90. However, I think its going to need disks and pads front and rear. Quick question, I wondered what ones to get there seems to be a whole range of them. I tend to shy away from britpart stuff on the 90 due to some reported issues, not sure what the state of these parts are like for a D3?
Also, I assume this is a diy task and needs no special tools other than a jack and axle stands?
Thanks
P.S. Larry Jnr is in getting a front knock sorted today, so I might be in for a big bill already!!!

Site sponsor AF have a whole range of discs and pads.

Drilled and vented all the way for me, no better at stopping the lump, however cleaner wheels. Ebc.. Green stuff pads to match :

+1 for the V8 brake upgrade. It only costs about £50 more as a one off to get the bigger carriers but it makes a world of difference to the stopping power.
You may also have to factor in the increased insurance premium though.
I thought that declaring uprated brakes would make my insurance premium lower but no, they charged me more for being able to stop quicker!
