Boot on D3 not opening

Hi.

Yesterday I unlocked my D3 and tried to open the boot. It kind of half unlocked but I could not open the boot. In the end I pushed it closed and cannot open it.

When I press in the boot unlock on the boot it makes a noise as if it is trying to do something but does not open.

I've also tried holding the lock/unlock buttons for 5 secs whilst someone else then tries to open the boot but no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,

Ed

Completely wrong. If you can hear it trying to open but nothing happens, as in this case, the cable end has snapped off. Big Cry
