Headlight confusion and dodgy dash

Dear all,
I have tried to find these problems on the forum before posting this, so please excuse me if this is a tired set of questions!

I have a 2011 D4.

(1) I have noticed in the last week or so that the MAIN BEAM on the pax side has stopped working in regular use. The outer ring of LEDS? still works, the Full-Beam still works when pressed. The reason why I don't think it is a faulty light bulb however is that if I hit the lights switch from the key-fob outside of the car - the faulty headlamp/Main Beam in question does work and the light is good. Any idea on how to fix the headlight?

(2) For some months now, when I put my headlamps on, the illumination on my dash display starts flicking between high (regular) and low (bit too dark) illumination. It holds each state for several seconds. Once the headlamps go off, the illumination stays constant. Any idea what is wrong here?

Could the two issues be connected? (I think the problems came at very different times but I could be wrong)

Thanks in advance!

Corrected - I should have said Main Beam.
Good start to my posting career.

Main Beam doesn't work on PAX side from inside the car, but does work when I use the Key Fob to turn the lights on.

Read somewhere on the forum that if a bulbs out or a dodgy replacement it causes all sorts of electrical problems.
Try replacing the bulb.
Hope you get it fixed Thumbs Up
