Scotland 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Cairns BlueDiscovery 3
[For Sale] TDV6 block/heads

Originally destined to be turned into a coffee/display table in the workshop. Never happened Rolling Eyes

Crank had spun No6 big end and stripped for inspection

Heads are still attached, Pistons and rods are still inside the cylinders, though the caps are missing
One cam cover is also missing
I'd say the engine is unsuitable for rebuild...

Main + big end caps have been disposed of

Maybe it could be reused. Main caps are not likely to be block specific. Another set of rods and a crank regrind might see it OK My D3 Build Thread

I'd be really surprised if the main bearing caps were not specific to the block they were made for.
Surely they will have been line bored in position? Richard
