Hi All,
On my 2007 Disco 3 HSE there seems to be an intermittent engine rattle. Only seems to occur on deceleration and seems to be coming from the top of the engine. It sounds like a tappet. I know this is a little vague, just wondered if there is any known problems that sound similar.

Not sure if yours is same but mine seems to have a "rasp" rattle when you are feathering the accelerator and it is getting worse ! Does anyone have any ideas ?

Ours has just been in the garage with an engine rattle, and LR said it was the auxiliary drive belt tensioner that had a problem/was broken. 
Before it was just a constant rattle, from about the front rightish.
Dunno whether that helps...
