Iid on two different devices?

I have been using the iid bt tool on my android tablet without any problems, but now I would like to use my android phone as well.
But my phone seems to be unable to find the bt tool.
Is this at all possible to do, or can't I use two different android devices?

I must be doing something wrong then.
Insert the iid, and press "search for tool" but the phone doesn't find it.

I had a nightmare trying to get my old phone to see the IID BT . The app was installed correctly, updated, bluetooth on, but the phone still struggled to see it.

It did eventually, and was ok after that.

My new phone has had no trouble. First try connected.
