Led bulbs right pee,d off
Noticed I had to change both my cheapy ebay led n=plate bulbs thats another 1.50gbp wasted and they only lasted 2 odd years gutted, I mean thats like 37.5p per per bulb per year.
All the other bulbs in and outside the car are still fine and bright, so not sure why these two took it upon themselves to start packing up.
I think I shall write a strongly worded letter to my vicar

And move to Tunbridge Wells. The place to be when disgruntled.

you should be thankfull they lasted that long, the one's I've been using last anything between 2 weeks to 10 weeks, pain keep changing the front side lights
anyone got a suggestion for decent cheapish replacements, mind you I did always notice that the std glass side and number plate bulbs went black after a short while so maybe the car charging at around 14v burns them up quickerplease excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

I actually dared to trust LEDs briefly and purchased some for the side repeaters but they were too long
Might fit the glove box light if you have them sat in a drawer?.

How do you change the clovebox light, that is without attacking it with a shovel or crowbar?
It's fiddly ... But I'll try and post piccie in the morning as mine is currently in centre cubby while I decide how bright I want it to be..

I've had LED bulbs from eBay, Advanced Factors, Hids4U etc and most all fail within 1-2 years - its a constant battle to keep spares and replace them.

when you look up into the gap, you should see the bit of the switch that gets pushed in to turn the light off when glove box is closed. to side of it, there are a couple of plastic tabs that need gently squeezing and pushing backwards a bit, just so they are not actually keeping the switch assembly in place.
The similar tabs around the moving part will then allow you to push them gently back through the hole.
Now I've retrieved it from car, I suppose i'm going to have to carry on and fit an LED in it. Only taken about 10 weeks to get round to the bit that was whole point of removing it in first place
