SatNav issue on D3

Hi all,
A few weeks ago my satnav told me that there was an error reading the disc........i took it out and cleaned and no joy, read all stories of needing to replace the unit under the seat or even changing the system for a D4 type......
the disc was an updated non LR one so i thought i would try the original LR disc, this then worked and has done ever since however when selecting a new destination you can pick a POI or a previous but you cant enter a postcode [only digits appear - no letters] i have ordered a new disc but wondered if the symptoms mean there is something else wrong?

Is your default country U.K. or still set/reset to factory default Belgium?

Hi
Thats a good point, when i originally placed the non LR updated disc in i did the set up, when i placed the original disc back in i never changed any settings as i thought it would be as previous.......i take it i need to do this then? plus do i need to change the disc with vehicle running or not [i changed it with ignition off?]

Ukraine 

I've changed default country on the move when crossing from one country to another, I think it's in settings somewhere. You don't have to change the disk at all. Thumbs Up
