I usually increase to 41psi when towing, but after finding that running on 275/45/21's a better ride was gained by running at 39psi (these being cold PSi numbers). I just happened to check the pressures (via the dash) after a couple of hours towing, so hot tyres, and they were are 45psi - so 6PSi up. Didnt realise it was that much of an increase.
so if you are at 43 cold, I think you could be close or over 50 when hot.

I've always assumed tyre pressures should be checked when cold, so surely tyre manufacturers recommended pressures should also be adhered to when cold. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
