LR3 rear quarterlight aerial
Hi chaps and chappesses.
I need to sort out my bad reception on my LR3. I notice that on the rear quarterlight glass etched aerial there are two press stud type terminals. Mine are bare. Is something supposed to link these to enable the audio system to use the whole of the glass etched aerial?
Or are these terminals for some sort of amplifier?
Btw, my reception troubles started today after having my rear windows tinted.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I didn't think any models had TV back then. Unfortunately I can't look at mine and see what it's got.

I'm 90 miles away from my car at at the moment but this is a pic from my gallery of my glass. I had to fit a press stud connector to connect the aerial amps when I fitted my tv module to this bit.
He may well be referring to the centre one

Dels correct. Theyre in the middle. Should be a connector to go onto that. They may have shoved it up your roof lining. Have a feel above.

Sussed it! I found an exploded diagram which showed the amplifier with the sort of connection that is used to attach to a 9v battery on the end of the short lead.
I gently pulled down the headlining over the top of the two metal studs on the glass filament and stuck my fingers up to find the connector. Once reconnected the reception is perfect.
