Winter tires with studs?
Does anyone have an opinion on winter tires with studs? I realize this is not something most of Europe regularly uses but they’re very useful up here in Scandinavia.
I’ve been thinking of Nokian HKP9 SUVs but I don’t have any info to back it up beyond that’s the vendor I’ve always used on all previous/concurrent cars.
We use Nokian on our support vehicles during winter testing in Arjeplog. Not heard anything negative from the guys. For our test vehicles we tend to run Pirelli winter tyres without studs as they can be fitted and checked in the UK prior to shipping the vehicles.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

There is another Scandinavian brand that does studded winter tyres (begins with a H and is a long name), the mechanic in Norway that was helping me with Dark Bluie swore by them. He was in Sortland so gets a fair amount of snow. Nokian or "H***********", you won't go far wrong. Time to start looking for second set of rims.

Nokian HKP8 is spelled the long way Hakkapeliitta 8. If that’s the case we’re talking about the same things
