Hi Just had this done on my Disco 3 2007 Hse, used the Dunlop kit, all works great.
Kit was £625 done in 4-5hour had extra spacer fitted on rear springs, sits at normal height, tows fine, good in the corners, drive very well even with seven adults and 6 suit cases in luggage top box.
best decision Ive made. If i ever change to Disco 4 I would not hesitate to have i done again.

Unless you are going way off grid, why would you. It really isn't that troublesome, I have had one compressor in 11 years of disco ownership, you would get through more springs and dampers than that. It is also one of the main points that makes it so good, a fantastic ride and the ability to lug huge loads around and still sit and reside perfectly level.
Base models were springs at the start so yes it is possible, but why?Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Greenraven,
I am planning to do mine too. Do you need spacers only for the rear or all 4. Also please what size of spacers did you use??
Thanks.

They drive much better on air...
Poor diagnostics and a lack of understanding of the system gives the cars a poor reputation My D3 Build Thread
It has a reference to the spacers, which i got from Rimmer bros

I was to told that you would get problems with the insurance as you're changing factory specs?

if you live in a remote place and availability of good service plus spares is poor then you need to decrease the odds of spending your night on a not moving car.
thats my only reason, otherwise i agree with Disco Mike 100%.

Did Land Rover ever make a Disco 7 seat on coils? If not is the car legal? Type approval etc.In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar

No UK Type approval/vehicle homologation/crash test etc, then the vehicle would be illegal in the UK, god help you if you are involved in an accident. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar
