Hi all
hoping someone can help. I've a 2005 auto discovery 3 with 165k on the clock. I've had the Rev 'hunting' and shudder at low speed symptoms but today at a petrol station I lost all gears. While on a slight incline into the garage I had the message limited gears available and an F on the gear selection display, so I pulled in stopped the engine, restarted and had nothing not even reverse. I could hear a strange whirring noise from the transmission when the revs dropped. Through reading the forum I'm guessing torque converter for the shudder and Rev hunting. But have I maybe sheared front and rear propshafts too? Just trying to see how much to clear on the credit card for the bills!
