This is how I have tried earthing pin 6.
I have tried both ways in the pics below. The sunroof still didn't work.
Am I testing this right
I used a screw driver to make sure I was catching the pin.
Below I used the recal to get a reading which was a peak of 9v on both the blue and brown.
I thought grounding the module with pin 6 would mean the sunroof would work, thus proving it was a faulty module.
If it didn't work then it would be the motor it's self. However if the recal operation open and closes then the motor must work.

Bump.
I have had another go at trying to test the wires from the switch to the module but the colours from switch don't match the plug for the module. However, there is power to the module. I have confirmed that.
How do I test the remaining wires to the module?
I have a DMM and some enthusiasm though that is waining .
I don't want to just buy a module and get it sent out here if it is not needed or it is the switch. The cost of returning tends to make it expensive.

Ok .. Bear in mind I haven't done this but trying to decipher the info ... Plus can only access forum on phone at the mo.
If ... Based on the pin 6 info we have ...grounding it is meant to do something, then in it's normal state it's not at zero volts. You should thus be able to measure a voltage on it ...no telling what without full circuit diagram, but something that's not zero.
If it's zero, probably duff module..

I will see if I can get any measurement from the lin into the module then check the same wire out.
Do you think fitting new led lights inside will make the sunroof work

Fitting Led bulbs elsewhere has been known to cause bazaar problems!It can when others can't,

Found a previous post on forum that says they had to do the reset several times before normal service resumed..

Dean.
No reading grounding pin 6. The ground is good as have used that to get readings below.
I don't understand what pin 6 is for then, I thought it was an over ride.
On the input have readings of 9 - 12v on all except black. This is feed in as opposite motor.
On out put side meaning going to electric motor, only have readings on the two yellow. Have tried with sunroof switch in both positions.

I have done reset 5 times one after the other. nothing.
I don't get how to test signals from switch to module. If I could figure that then it would tell me switch or module.
