D3. 2007 fuel filter
Hi everyone.about to do a service on my beloved d3 .i have purchased a service kit from britpart.has me a little worried because the fuel filter has no markings on the side ..the arrows and padlock signs needed to line it up correctly.it also came with o rings according to the Haynes manual these are needed for the water sensor .do I have to remove this of the old filter and fit to the new one...many thanks...

That's the wrong fuel filter in the video.
I got new o rings included with my kit. Yes remove the old water in fuel sensor and move to your new filter. With the new o rings

The fuel filter you have is even easier to fit than the one in the video, it's very straight forward.

Thanks for the quick response...must admit a little nervous going to do it next weekend....will let the forum know how it goes..I'm quite sure I will swear profusely Still don't know how I'm going to line it up correctly or will it only go on a certain way....

Did mine yesterday, along with all the other service stuff as per the Land Rover service sheet. It's like screwing the lid on a jar, three keys fit the slots and turn until it's home, one little trick I use is to smear a very little clean oil on the top seal, just helps it fit a little easier.
Have fun.
