GPS Tracker/Messenger

So been looking at these on amazon lately and wondered if anyone here has one or experience of similar?

Normally these sort of devices appear to be £500 plus so £100 seems too good to be true..

EDIT:

To be clear, not as a vehicle tracker per se but as an expedition tracker and a method of communication in remote areas, etc..

No personal experience - but have been with someone who had one; it seemed to work well.

However I suggest you check up on what the annual subscription will be; ISTR in excess of £100 p.a.

You might also consider rental of a suitable device; from £5 per day here:-

https://www.globaltelesat.co.uk/rent#/page/1

there may well be other rental options.
