Left windows open, it rained and now locking issues

So firstly "Yes, I know I'm a Censored " Thumbs Up

Came home last night, bright sunshine, so left the windows open as I was going out again, long story short I didn't end up going out and forgot about the windows

It of course Censored it down overnight and this morning was faced with both front windows open and water inside car Embarassed

Besides damp bits everywhere, all actually seemed to be ok, but just noticed this afternoon that the drivers door lock, although moves, it doesn't lock the car. Lock button and you see it move, but it still allows you to open it - same when you deadlock it Sad

Any thoughts?

Cheers from a Embarassed Iggy

I hope you realise that as a long standing member of the forum, by reporting this, you are inviting everybody to rip the urine out of you? Mr. Green

Won't help you resolve the problem but there could be some serious mileage in this one. Rolling with laughter

You are at the mercy of the forum faithful, may they be lenient with your soul. Thumbs Up
As penance, maybe you should consider changing your location to "Rainy" instead of "Sunny". Wink

'There for the grace of god' etc - could happen to anyone

Get yourself a decent mains dehumidifier and leave it running overnight for a week. That should suck out the majority of the water.
