What's your battery voltage? If it's okay I'd probably start with a hard reset, disconnect battery and short the leads.
Did you change anything with the iid or just read faults and values, if you were sitting in the car for a while you may just have run the battery down. Thumbs Up

Battery Voltage shows 14 on IID tool. Fairly new battery, bought it late last year- spec recommended by Bodsy - one of the site sponsor.

Cheers

hi mo

wondering , could ur steering wheel angle sensor be out, know in the iid u can put ur steering wheel straight and reset it to zero ,

also thinking if urs is the base model have u got electric pedals and steering column , assume this can be turned off in the iid , i.e. if there not there could the system be looking for them and giving the faults shown

i may be completely wrong and hope someone more experienced should be able to tell if that's the case regarding the steering wheel sensor and seat faults

Mine used to come up most of the time with those codes and there was not even a electrical column fitted if you have a IID tool try resetting your steering angle sensor first and if that does not do it may be a four wheel alignment may be required if you have a new battery and your alternator is charging Thumbs Up

i did wonder that about the steering wheel angle sensor, that if it's not set correctly if it can throw up faults

mine kept showing memory seat errors , alas though memory seats arnt fitted , turned it off in the iid and faults went away , so was surmising if indeed power pedals and power steering column wernt fitted the system would keep looking for them

hopefully that makes some sense Laughing

Thanks all,

I've done the steering angle reset but it's still throwing up same fault but my battery showed 12.4V on the IID while testing faults( i.e. when ignition is in 'ON' position but engine not running).

Hi Mo

think the iid won't let u do anything when it hits 12 volts, but i would have thought the battery would be fine as its new, mine is 14.5 volts when running , but more experienced people would be able to verify that

did u have any joy ref the setting regarding ur pedals and steering column to see if they were set to on

that's weird , seeing its reporting an open circuit

assume a faulty brake light switch or bad rear bulbs can throw any of these faults up

hope u get it sorted out

Mo, when does this issue appear?

1. Is it apparent at first switch on?
2. Does it suddenly occur during your daily drive?
3. Does switching off the ignition reset everything?
