Faulty height sensor, wiring issue, or poor suspension calibration can cause all these faults.
In addition, check for physical damage to the sensors and link rods, as well as the rubber rods seized onto the arm pivots My D3 Build Thread

Hi thank you for advice will check all in the morning and report back
All 4 height sensor was checked one osf was replaced with a fresh calibration done
Engineer did notice one osr tyre was a run flat others all normal would that throw this fault ?
Also said battery needs to be a Land Rover battery not the new one I bought from eurocarparts says not enough power going through car
What spec battery should be on a Land Rover sport ?
I had the 80a0 95ah silver battery when I purchased car
And just replaced it with the s5 0 13 which is 830a and 100ah supposedly better than i had originally
car has never had any battery problems since new one has been fitted starts with no difficulty at all.
i had the old battery checked by an expert whom reported nothing wrong with battery just needs a full charge but is perfectly ok also gave me a receipt to show that it is working fine .

having checked all by engineer whom says that wrong battery installed should be more than 950 , current one has been there for past two years which was a 850 ?
is that correct ?
insists i go to main dealers to purchase one at £268 ?
also reported that clock wasn't calibrated causing suspension problem too which he has rectified but intermittently whilst driving rd suspension light come son and car lowers , i have to stop switch off and then restart and at times have to go into extended mode os suspension then lower to bring car back into standard popstion

Me too!
Last June I bought a '10 XS. after a few weeks I got the same error - have had both front ride height sensors changed. Had the pump replaced, then the dealer then had it in, and replaced the valve that puts the air to the different parts of the suspension (sorry cant think of the name as I type!). Still had the problem, and the dealer had it for a week, showing that the ride height sensor was at fault, but this is "new", trying to find any wiring fault, or any way to re-create the problem, (Thank heavens they didn't charge for the hours that would have taken )
Yesterday's read of the fault was a cross articulation fault - which seems to be the alternating error - this, and the ride height sensor.
Still have the fault, now thinking the only solution is to get rid....
Is there anything that anyone can suggest as I love the car - but can't have a temperamental car with an intermittent fault - prefer an "its broken" fault than these.
