I might be dreaming but I'm sure my D3 key was supposed to be waterproof (never tried it though)

Thanks for the info, I've just taken the key back to our local key man and he took it apart and managed to get the unlock button responding so all fixed, did t tell him it was underwater for 20 seconds
£20 and it's sorted, he quoted me £195 for a second key if I want one which I probably should get tbh but at £180 I'll go main dealer!
Thanks for all the help, oh managed to unlock the passnger door with gt85 and waggling the key in the lock as well, bit like the turbo actuator problem
