Arnott AMK Compressor

Hi

Suspect suspension compressor is on it's way out. Getting codes C1A13 and C1131. I have ordered an Arnott AMK Compressor from AF, due to the similar cost to an Hitachi replacement (AF believe I currently have an Hitachi based on chassis number). This is due to be dispatched tomorrow......

Having done some reading the Arnott will not fit in existing covers, and will therefore not be 'encased' when fitted. Has anybody had issues with it not being covered? Is it significantly louder with no covers on?

Depending on response, may need to call AF and change order to an Hitachi replacement

If fitting the AMK you will require the software update for the RLCM, the Hitachi replacement will work as is .
