EPB FAILURE

I've just had to fit new hand brake shoes as a spring in the old ones had snapped.(fitted new discs and pads also}
I followed Bodsy's bible, but since trying the bedding in procedure I have a fault showing as module over temp, hand brake not working, and the annoying bong constantly,
Any idea's ???
