Has any member had this suspension fault?
The vehicle is started up as normal, no suspension lights on, then playing with the ride height switch the vehicle will rise to off road height but not back to normal or access height. The vehicle will lower itself from off road height to normal height whilst driving and if the ride height switch is not touched the vehicle will stay at normal height position.
What do i check first

If it tries to lower, (i.e switch light flashes when pressed) and then goes back up the system requires calibration or there is a venting issue.
Having the park brake off and gearbox in N can help

Thanks for both reply's
The suspension does not try to lower when the switch is pressed,
When the veh is in normal height after it self lowers whilst driving, pressing the switch only raises the vehicle.

Ah! playing with switch is the clue - switch towards front, raises car, switch towards rear lowers the car but has been said faulty switch or liquid ingress to the connector

Hi, Thanks for the info.
Spent all day trying to check the ride height switch but could not find any fault the special programs side of the switch unit appears to work so i must conclude that the switch and connector is ok.
The next thing is to find out if the compressor is venting. Maybe buying a compressor over haul kit and having a go at refurbishment.
any advice would help.
thanks again
Roger

When you operate the switch to lower, does the light change to the lowering position even though it doesn't actually lower ?
