| Black Box FCR and 07 plate EML |

Good afternoon!
I have recently purchased a Black Box FCR and new licence for my 07 D3 - I blanked the EGR valves recently and due to the year, the EML is on - does anyone know the procedure to clear this using the FCR?

Not sure whether or not you can clear it with the FCR but if you do, chances are it will come back again after a couple of restarts. The permanent solution is the EGR blank software patch. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

FCR = Fault Code Reader
This will read and clear fault codes only, it won't write to the car i.e. updates etc.
You'll need a more flexible tool than an FCR to do what you want.  Mods:

You'll need a software add on to stop the EML coming on. The FCR won't be able to helpnim afraid.
Well I suppose you could reset the codes after every third start, that might get a bit tedious though. Bodsys Brake Bible
