Front Mantec Winch mount and parking sensors

I'm in the process of getting all the parts together to fit a front winch to my D4 HSE. It's got front parking sensors and every picture I've seen so far of a winch installation shows the bumper needs to be cut where the inner two sensors are fitted.

I have the following questions:

1. Can I move them further outboard from the winch mount and drill new holes in the bumper?
2. Can I move them up higher into the corners of the slot in the bumper, where I think the cameras go?
3. Can I just disconnect them without causing any errors or warning lamps?
4. Do I have to disable front parking sensors if I fit the winch?

Ideally I'd like to keep them, but I'm not averse to fitting a hidden winch if I need to as nothing's been set in stone yet.

Hi mate,

I had this fitted a couple of months ago and Land Rover remove the sensors and cancel the front sensors from the on board computer as the norm. I wasn't keen on losing my front sensors to be honest but now they are gone I've never needed them Laughing and with a large winch on the front you have a nice buffer for unexpected accidents Mr. Green

Thanks Kenny, love the look of your Disco. I guess I'll have to accept using the winch as a distance sensor.
