The rear plastic panel below the badges on the tailgate is coming off at one end. The small lugs or whatever you want to call them are still there and look intact, but it doesn't seem to want to clip back on.
Is it likely that these need replacing? Or do I need to pull them off the body, try and put them back on the plastic panel then refit it to the car that way?

To be honest I would buy some new plastic clips before hand, remove the whole plastic panel and start from scratch. There's more than a fair chance you will break some trying to remove them.
