Corroded brake pipes
Can anyone advise how many hours work LR likely to charge for replacing the rear n/s and o/s rear brake pipes? Advised corroded and require replacement. Are there any Disco 3 mobile mechanics who are site sponsors and do any work down in Buckinghamshire?
Thanks,
Duncan

To do the brake pipes you need the car up on a lift realistically. I don't know how you'd do it with your back on the ground, it'd be a of a job.
Mine was done with the body off when the turbo was replaced up at Risboro' 4x4 in Bledlow - not too far from you, they see loads of Discos... I expect they'd be able to do it without taking the lid off.-------------------------------------------------------------------

LR quoted me over £1200 to do this, apparently its a long job to replace the metal lines.. OR you could just cut out the corroded part and replace it with copper pipe ... If you can get to kent Geoff is your man! he can do this for you at a very reasonable rate.www.southeast4x4response.org.uk Responder of 9 years service SE140
