Not my D4,but my Jag needed a service last week. It also needed 2 new rear tyres. Guy Salmon were doing the service and I also asked for them to quote me two rear tyres. 295/30/20 Pirelli. Dealer quoted me £280 per tyre. I rang around and searched, and cheapest came out at £226. Unfortunately that was Kwik Fit. BC, TOTD, all were in the same ball park, at around 228-230 per tyre.
Anyway, spoke to GS and told them about the other quotes. I said I appreciated that it would all be done in one visit, so my time saving trailing around getting tyres fitted was worth something. In the end they agreed to £235 per tyre, so they got the job.
