Andy, suggest you read the thread, they're pattern parts that look OEM. Embarassed
Genuine rails are circa £500, pattern parts which look and fit like OEM, are around £150. Thumbs Up

There's a silver set on ebay as an auction at the moment
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Extended-Roof-ra...1431.l2649

Or these ones on a bin in black
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-BLACK-FULL-L...2749.l2649

Neither have anything to do with me, I was bidding on the first ones but I really want black ones so bought a set of the second ones

Morning Ray, A Patriot. I pick it up tomorrow (Sunday) from Runcorn 👍 I have also bought a 29000 lumens light bar. It cost him £490 but I have got it for £100 as he is selling it with rack and no wiring loom or anything. Should be great for pointing out to people coming towards me they have left their fog lamps on Whistle I want to see you anyway Ray as I want some sort of fixing made to fasten roof tent to rack. I will ring you later or pop over as I may be dropping a stilh off for Greg Thumbs Up

The second set look a bit crap. If you look at feedback their parts seem cheap and nasty. You would be better off with the Powerful UK ones at £155. Everything is there in the kit including drill plastic rivet removal tool the whole 9 yards Thumbs Up I will vouch for them Thumbs Up The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Ey Bobby you may have. I was only surmising that. They may be ok. It's just that their feedback is not great when it comes to after market parts. For the extra I would go for the other rails but that's imho. Mr. Green

I am thinking to install extended roof rails to my D4.
But have question about the noise.
Is there increased noise, any whistles and so on?

Well, my cheap extended rails have arrived and so far they look fine to me

Well packaged up, everything there but a drill, which really isn't an issue, obviously, the proof will be when the're fitted but on reflection, how many factory's would be producing these, one I'd guess with such relatively small numbers in demand, so unless these are ones that didn't quite achieve the quality control checks, I think these will be pretty much the same as all the others out there.
