hi all i have a disco 3 2007 (57) auto done 86000 and have all lights lit up on dash, when bought the car it had a new electric handbrake which the garage did when we had it and there was a suspension fault light apear, have been working away so car was left for 2 months when took in for mot when i was back it failed due to front suspension arm bush, front passenger wheel bearing has exessive play and inner front constant velocity joint gaiter is damaged so i took it to a mechanic i use on other cars he said he did arms and but later fount out he hadent also he changed the front passenger wheel bearing i took it away and 2 mins down the road lights lit up on dash with exlimation mark messages saying hdc fault suspension lowered and a grinding which happens for 2/3 secs then goes have taken into diognostics and faults came up that the compresser voltage was on 5 volts and 2 egr.valves were faulty, no mention of hdc or any thing, also the height sensor is faulty can anyone help many thanks

If you had lower arms replaced, it must have a proper 4 wheel alignment followed by recalibration of the steering angle sensor otherwise, you get all the bells and whistles you're currently experiencing. Rolling Eyes

If the car has not been used for 2 months , what is the state of the battery? Low voltage will cause many unexplained warning issues

hi

wonder as the compressor isn't running if he's disturbed one of the 3 x terminal connectors that sit behind front passenger side wheel arch liner

know ref the garage saying the compressor only has 5 volts when it should have 12 volts

just a thought if one of the wires have been pulled out and just need repairing , as one of these connectors go to the compressor

my thinking is at least it won't hurt for him to check the wiring out first

to then ensure the correct voltages are going to the compressor

is only the case of removing the front wheel then taking out the inner wheel arch to access them

plse let us know how u get on

Missed this. Would be checking they have not damaged the wheel speed sensor, or CV joint Thumbs Up

2 wires on each sensor, 2 sensors = 4 wires. Whistle

Maybe what was meant.
