There are some good posts about regarding the removal and refitting of the compressor (Hitachi)
but until you have actually done one you don't really get how hard that top bracket bolt is to remove.
It must be the longest bolt in history especially when you haven't got the right sort of spanner to do the job
once removed its quite an easy job to do.
The new clips for the compressor bolts I found easier (after dropping one into the chassis )me being clumsy, was to put a piece of wire looped at the very back of the clip which then if you drop it into the chassis hole you can retrieve it easier.Once in place just undo the wire.
Refitting is made easier by making a slot (somewhere I read on here great idea )vertically along side the top bolt allowing you to fit the bolt as far as it will go then slide the bracket with compressor into place.
Apart from that new compressor fitted and working all ok
