Clicking O/S rear wheel, solved but the cause?
Coming back from a long journey yesterday and for the last bit of the journey wound the windows down and I can hear an odd clicking from the rear end. Whipped the wheel off tonight and found this:
The end of the hook that holds the brake pipe away from the wheel as worn though and then the pipe was rubbing on the wheel hence the noise.
So lucky escape but what would cause the hook to wear like that and I need a new one from some where urgently as I need the motor for an NHS charity event on Thursday.==================================

The park brake cable outer casing chafes into the metal bracket over a long period. The brackets can be had from advanced factors or a LR dealer. There is one each side ( different p/no's) so that may be shot as well.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Now I can see the pic better Mogwyth....( using a different device)........the cable outer covering looks to be worn through to the metal in places, when you get the new brackets, also put some rubber hose ( slit it and cable tie it on) or similar over that section, or it will really make a noise and wear everything away much quicker.
