Gearbox Flush
Went down to see Kris (Woody32) today and he flushed the gearbox on our 6 speed Disco 4. After a bit of a wait for the box to cool (it was 26 degrees!!) the flush was done. Top chap, top job and increasingly silky smooth gear changes on the way home. I would highly recommend Kris and the trip down the M5 to see him. Ill be there in a minute!!!

Hi Kris,
I noticed no one services the gearbox in Hong Kong(since hardly and D4 get driven pass 100,000km). I decided to try my luck and went for a "drain and fill" with a Landy mechanic with no experience in gear oil change. He did not warm up the gear after the first refill and let me go. Should I expect an underfill or over? Do you think it'd be okay to just leave it.
