2011 D4 / LR4 Fuel Smell

Hi All,

Just got back from a road trip to Arizona (pictures to follow!) and after a couple of days noticed a strong smell of petrol in the garage coming from the rear passenger side (filler side) of the vehicle.

I'll be dropping her off at the local indy on Monday, but in the meantime anyone had any experience with this? No visible signs of drips or pooling underneath. 5.0L V8 of course Whistle

I guess the only time I've had the smell of petrol in mine is when I've filled a can and put it in the boot for use with garden equipment. I doubt there are many petrol D4's at all in the UK.

You probably call it the trunk now?

I've lived here too long, I do call it the trunk now Laughing

Thought it was worth an ask, she's in at the local Indy today so we'll see - he says he's never had that on an LR4 before Big Cry
