D4 Bullbar -

I am amazed that this bullbar & bumper are legal; it's from Queensland.

Why?
A necessity for outback travel in Oz and parts of the US but in Europe not so much.
But either way it looks well.

Australia

They meet the Australian Design Rules for pedestrian safety - forces the pedestrian up onto the bonnet rather than under the car.

That bar actually looks like the genuine LR Bar for the D4 - not after market. Is made out of polished aluminium so not as strong as most other bars that are steel.

a Roo Bar! Thumbs Up

they do it proper in oz - bl**dy meddling eu rules stopped that kind of thing in the UK in 2006 Sad

cos we can't injure a jaywalker now can we?

even though it seems perfectly legal to drive a tractor with a bail spike on the front on the road....

It's not legal to drive a tractor on the road with unprotected bale spikes.

And sharp edges or points such as spikes, pallet tines, bucket teeth etc legally have to be either folded up or guarded.
