I went and sat in one for the first time last week when I popped to the dealers for a part.
Not as bad overall as some make out on here. The front inside impressed me. Very comfortable!
The second row seats were terrible as described. No idea how they got signed off. LR should be ashamed of themselves for that!
I liked the boot size and electric folding seats. The tailgate arrangement was ok, but I prefer the D4 with a true split.
Overall, I would probably have one if money was no object,, however at 77k sticker price for the HSE I looked at, it's too expensive for me. And I think too expensive for that car as well epecially considering the rear seats!
There was a S/C one for sale at Thames Ditton LR if anyone is looking for one

Yep, some of the prices are crazy. My one at £54k is about it for me. At £60k + then forget it, get a FFRR.
The quality is good but not £70k good.
I don't find the 2nd row that bad, perhaps it's because I don't have electric fold seats, maybe makes them a bit more comfortable.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
