My D3 Projects
Having passed over the D3 2014 D4 Conversion to the Wife & Dog I am attempting a cheap D4 2014 look a like without spending too much.
With Powerful Grille (And Black Discovery Lettering)
With Light Guards to break up the square D3 lights
With Top & Bottom taped up (Would be painted) to acheive a more modern look. (Total less than £200)
Team Elliott
2014 Conversion (Now the Wifes )

Was thinking of this mod for head lights to make them more rectangular, but not with electric tape, but with head light darkening wrap.

One of the 1st things i done was remove all the back lettering, far cleaner looking without all that

also found it easier when putting polish on the disco without all the letters on the back, does indeed look nicer
wondering if i should get black or silver discovery lettering for the bonnet
here's mine so far with an updated grill
also like the headlamp grills and will be adding the fog lights at some stage, see the wiring connectors are already there behind the headlight

Dave
The Tape is just to get an idea what it looks like!!!
I did say they would be painted (or wrapped) if I like the look.
I think wrap will work better than film as I want to make that part look like body rather than headlight.
