Hi Guys
I am looking for some advice on undersealing my D3, I was looking to do this myself as I don't want to pay the £200-300 to have it done at a garage.
I have been looking at Schutz and hammerite underseal and I was wondering if anyone had used either product and could recommend one or the other ?
Cheers guys

Cheers for the info Disco_Mikey,
The messiness is not a problem, I am a fencer/farmer
I will have a look at the buzzweld, is it a spray on or a paint on ?

Buzzweld sound good but see a fair few bad reviews about them, which put me off. I went with Dinitrol and paid to have it professionally done at a reputable garage and the product and the application was awful currently trying to get my money back

Dont use any form of underseal as it WILL eventually flake off and trap water making the problems much worse.
Chassis wax on the other hand wont hurt at all so long as you avoid waxoyl as its proper rubbish.

There is a product couple named perma-film and fluid-film.
But as usual in the conserving business, 2/3 of the job is the way You prepare the surface.
There is no product, You can brush over rusty bits and cure it all and forever...!
I used fluid film in several viscosities, from spray, to slime, until wax-like for the care of the frame, and been using the perma film product for the underbody of the chassis and outer perts of the frame.
It's clearly a possible DIY, but clearly not the greatest fun if one is not equippeted with the neccessary stuff and tools, meaning a compressor, spray guns, special sprayguns for the inside of the tubes, additional machines for roost treatment and roost conversion (brunox, i.e.)
Should reserve a long weekend to do it properly.
Maybe decide to do it in sections of bach, left, and the sides, as it makes sense take off some parts to gain access to the crucial corners, where the little roost-muppets live having their rustparty in the humid dark of the corners, where You nearly never wash it, even with a lance and 20bar and warm water. Mine will eventually be going to a place out past Glasgow airport for Dinitrol on it.
Have seen a few cars that they have treated and the results are very good.
Car is away for a week and they provide a disc with lots of pictures of the full treatment.
£600 but to me its worth the cost.

I used Dinitrol on an old MX5 about 5 years ago. Still doing it's job. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

For 600 quid you can buy the compressor/air line/wax applicator gun and all the wax and diy it, plus have some money left over, from then on its free to do any other car you may own.
Its not a hard job to do well.

That is very true, but i don't have the time to rub down a full car, get the rust curer for any rusty bits, etc.
then spray it all.
Would rather let those who have been dealing with this stuff for longer than i've been alive deal with it as it will be done properly.
