US vs EU facelift xenon afs headlight

As title says:
What is the difference between the US vs EU facelift xenon afs headlight?
(asides to the amber corners on US and US/EU light patterns)

By law in the US and for safety cars must have amber reflectors on the corners of the front of the vehicle and your side markers have to blink in amber.

Thanks for you reply.
Dose this mean that US have the blinkere in the amber corner?
What is in the round inner light where the blinker are in the EU version?
The EU one seems to have side markers but I am not sure the bulbs/LED are present.

Does the US rear lights also have red side lights?

Sorry for asking but I dont have any of them to study.

AFAIR NAS spec lights have to have steady amber and rear red side lights ...this makes an easy conversion for EU & UK spec units where the fitting exists...but they may not be technically legal for road use.

The LR4 (2014-2016) head lights for the US market have the blinkers same as UK/EU, but also the amber reflector on the sides of the headlights. The side view mirrors have amber bulbs.

Just to be clear what I mean by steady light... Smile

Pre 2014 LR3 \ 4 NAS have steady 5W lamps as shown in the yellow circles

2014 on LR4 NAS have steady LED lamps as shown in the yellow circles

UK \ RoW don't have these fitted although in some cases the electrics connectors are on the loom and the fixing holes are there in the lamps. No other differences AFAIK

Principally it is the beam form factor:

and the "side" lights as per above post

From my memory the pattern of D4/LR4 is ECE/DOT so it's "compatible for both standard"

Thanks for the updates.

I have seen pictures that show white light in the middle round lights where the blinkers are located, some sort of drl possibly retrofitted.
